Torch Festival

Torch Festival is the only holiday celebrated by all Bai people, second only to the Spring Festival for them. The beginning of this holiday was related to deterring pests and protecting crops. Waving torches before the autumn harvest could guarantee plenty of gains and thriving domestic animals.
